As Headteacher, I’m incredibly proud of our outstanding school community. I look forward to working in partnership with you as your child begins their journey with us.

Staff and pupils are rightly proud of their school.
You all work so hard and I love that I am able to volunteer and that my child attends such a wonderful school.
Pupils are supported to strive for excellence in everything that they do. They actively pursue the school’s values to be confident, resilient, ambitious, creative, considerate and healthy.
Every single student who came up was so polite and well mannered, greeting us with a cheerful hello, a please, and a thank you.
Pupils reach and exceed these expectations consistently. There is no ceiling on pupils’ learning.
...a real reminder of what a special community this school is.

Last year's Light Up Little Common was a lovely event to brighten up dark and gloomy January. Children created some lovely artwork (see the video for last year's artwork). We are looking forward to another evening of celebration this Wednesday from 4:30pm. If your child has created anything at home, please bring it to school today or tomorrow at home time where you can directly leave it in the pavilion. Alternately via the class teacher in the morning or via office if it's a larger or more delicate item!
Welcome back to school today. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas break. Looking forward to seeing you again soon

What a fabulous picture of joy as one of our pupils participates in the recent lights switch on event in Little Common. Our choir enjoyed singing to the community as well. https://www.sussexexpress.co.uk/news/people/pictures-little-common-lights-up-for-christmas-5434918

Year 2 enjoyed cooking last week! They had a fantastic time making their own pasta salads as part of our Design and Technology curriculum. They explored key food preparation skills including: Chopping and slicing – developing fine motor control and learning how to use tools safely and effectively. Using a range of techniques such as peeling, chopping, slicing, grating, mixing. Combining ingredients – understanding how different textures and flavours work together. Planning and evaluating – making choices about ingredients and reflecting on what they liked about their creations. We're so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and growing independence in the kitchen
